MANILA, Philippines—With the Japan B.League 2022-23 season in the books, Shiga Lakes’ Filipino import Kiefer Ravena had time to fly back to home soil.

One of Ravena’s stops in his return to the Philippines? A reunion of sorts with his former PBA team, NLEX Road Warriors.

While it may be the offseason, Ravena chose to focus on his game by attending one of the Road Warriors’ scrimmages.

In a story posted by NLEX cager Kevin Alas, Ravena was seen on defense, wearing his yellow alternate jersey, bringing back memories of old.

Ravena training with NLEX, however, should not indicate anything as both parties already have laid-out plans for the future.

The Road Warriors are currently embarking on a preseason run with the PBA On Tour while Ravena signed a contract extension with Shiga.

The Lakes, however, were relegated to the B.League’s B2 division with a 14-46 record.

Ravena averaged 10.5 markers, 4.0 dimes and 2.6 boards in the 2022-23 season for Shiga.
