Spotify: Goodbye to ‘Archetypes’: Prince Harry and Meghan’s Podcast bids farewell on Spotify – Times of India
NEW DELHI: Prince Harry and Meghan’s popular podcast “Archetypes” is coming to an end on Spotify, less than a year after its premiere. The couple’s production company has decided to part ways with the streaming service.
The podcast, which debuted in August of last year, became an instant hit with tennis legend Serena Williams as its inaugural guest. The podcast received widespread acclaim and featured notable personalities such as Mariah Carey, Trevor Noah, Mindy Kaling, and Paris Hilton.
“Archetypes” dominated the Spotify charts in seven countries, including the United States and the United Kingdom.
“I thoroughly enjoyed immersing myself in the process, working late into the night on the writing and creative aspects. Engaging in meaningful conversations with diverse and inspiring guests, laughing and learning alongside them, has been a truly rewarding experience, shared with each and every one of you,” Meghan stated at that time.
Meanwhile, Prince Harry has been engaged in a legal battle at the High Court of London this month. Accusing the Daily Mirror publisher of employing illicit tactics on a massive scale to secure front-page exclusives about his life, the Duke of Sussex made history by becoming the first senior member of the royal family to testify in over a century.
